Season of the Cube Starts Next Week

Magic Online’s Season of the Cube kicks off tomorrow with Chris Wolf’s Supremely Vintage Cube, which includes a special card list optimized for the pick-2-and-discard format. Read all the details in Chris’s article and play until October 29. Season of the Cube runs until November 18 and features a different cube each week! See the schedule below.

Vintage Cube Returns for a Bonus Week

Due to technical difficulties with the Vintage Supreme Draft, we have brought back the Vintage Cube for a bonus week. It’s a new instance of the League with some extra sweet additional prizes:

• Just for joining ,you receive an untradable Astelli Reclaimer
• If you go 3-0 and get a Trophy, you’ll win a tradable Quantum Riddler avatar!

The Vintage Cube Bundle is back on sale until next Tuesday - $27 for 3 Vintage Cube Draft Tokens plus a bundle-exclusive Goben, Gene-Splice Savant avatar. Remember to use those Tokens up by the end of the new League next Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT (17:00 UTC) - they expire after that time.

Limited Event Format Update: Edge of Eternities for Remainder of OM1 Season

Back by popular demand, Edge of Eternities will take over as the featured set for the remainder of the OM1 season’s Limited Preliminary, Trial, and Challenge events (until November 18). While we planned to rotate the format for these events during this period through some recently released sets, we have opted to pivot to EOE.

We’re also bringing back the Edge of Eternities Draft League starting tomorrow that will run for four weeks. Normal Draft League entry options and prizes apply – full info found here.

Finally, the November 8 Limited Super Qualifier will feature Edge of Eternities product for both play and prizes.

Through the Omenpaths Events Wrapping Up

• One Week Left: Through the Omenpaths Sealed League remains available one more week until October 29
• One Week Left: Through the Omenpaths 8-Player, Pick-1 League format will be available until October 29. It features typical entry options (including 3 OM1 Boosters + 2 Event Tickets), but the prize structure differs from usual:
  • 3-0 – 120 Play Points, 5 OM1 boosters, and 2 Season 3 QPs
  • 2-1 – 3 OM1 boosters
  • 1-2 – 1 OM1 booster

Last Day! Use Up Your Vintage Cube Draft Tokens

If you’re still holding onto Vintage Cube Draft Tokens for the current Cube season, it’s last call! They expire when the Cube League ends tomorrow, so be sure to use them all up (we’ll remove them at 10 a.m. PT and they are non-refundable)!

Legacy in the Limelight This Weekend

The format of dual lands, blue card manipulation, and Wasteland is on full display this weekend. Who will take the cues from the Eternal Weekend metagame and convert them into invites?

First up is the Legacy RC Super Qualifier that starts this Saturday, October 25 at 7 a.m. PT (14:00 UTC). It takes 40 Event Tickets, 400 Play Points or 40 Season 3 Qualifier Points to enter this event.

The Top 4 finishers are invited to the first round of tabletop Regional Championships of 2026 in January-February, and prizes pay down to the Top 128!

Then on Sunday, October 26, eight more invitations to December’s Legacy MOCS Showcase Qualifier are on the line in the Legacy Showcase Challenge starting at 8 a.m. PT (15:00 UTC)!

This event can only be entered with 40 Season 3 Qualifier Points. The Top 8 finishers in each event earn a Championship Entry Token for the event’s format plus earn Leaderboard Points toward an At-Large berth in the next Showcase!

Pack Wars! Innistrad Starts Tomorrow

Attention Limited fans: We've taken a long-time favorite of Magic at big conventions and brought it into Magic Online. There are some who call it Mini-Master, but on MTGO it’s Pack Wars! Innistrad runs until Wednesday, November 5, then another set will take over!

There are two different flavors of Pack Wars events – both of which are Best-of-One formats: a Keeper Swiss League, and a 2-Player Phantom Queue.

Alternate Play Schedule

Here’s a look at the schedule of events coming up between now and Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender. Each description mentions if the Draft is Phantom – cards won’t be added to players’ collections in Phantom events. All transitions take place at 10:00 a.m. PT (17:00 UTC) unless otherwise noted.

• October 22-November 18 – Season of the Cube!
• October 22-29: Chris Wolf’s Supremely Vintage Cube, a special card list optimized for the pick-2-and-discard format. (Phantom)
• October 29-November 5: Frank Lepore’s Halloween Horror Cube returns for year three. (Phantom)
• November 5-12:  Andrea Mengucci’s Powered Vintage Cube, the winner of the Creator Cube vote, will be featured. (Phantom)
• November 12-18: The favorite Cube from the format’s largest convention gets time in the limelight in CubeCon Cube.

When Do Vintage Cube Leagues Return?

• November 26-December 3 – The No Holds Barred variant returns
• December 17-January 20 – Holidays

Edge of Eternities redemption tokens are on sale, but inventory is beginning to run low. Check out our Redemption page for full program rules and inventory levels (updated weekly). As a reminder, the game itself is the most current place to determine if there is stock remaining for Redemption Tokens.

Tarkir: Dragonstorm regular redemptions have been restocked in a limited supply. Outlaws of Thunder Junction foils-for-regular remain available in small quantities.

Through the Omenpaths is not a redeemable set.
