Vintage Cube League – One Week Left

The next round of Vintage Cube League is in the home stretch of another four-week run!

Be sure to read Chris Wolf’s article now for the latest updates and card list.

TMT Beta Begins Friday – Sign Up Today!

Want to help us squish bugs and test card functionality while getting a first look at the newest set? MTGO’s Closed Beta Program is just the place!

Our normal Cardset betas involve playing a selection of complicated cards against a curated set of wordy and weird cards from MTGO’s history. A Sealed Deck League will be available and Commander games are encouraged. The goal is to ensure we release a quality product, so we appreciate all the help we can get – sign up today!

To apply for the program, submit a ticket at help.mtgo.com - choose Apply to Beta Program as the subject, fill out the form and agree to Terms. If you're admitted to the Program, you will be invited to join us for the TMT Beta round starting this Friday, February 20.

PREMIER PLAY

Two RC Qualifiers This Weekend

Your next chance to reach the next round of tabletop Regional Championships comes up this weekend!

First up is a Legacy RC Qualifier on Saturday, February 21 at 7 a.m. PT (15:00 UTC).

Then on Sunday, February 22, it’s a Pauper RC Qualifier, also at 7 a.m. PT.

It takes 40 Season 1 Qualifier Points to enter an RC Qualifier. The Top 2 finishers in each event are invited to the Regional Championships held in April and May, plus prizes pay out to the Top 64!

EVENT UPDATES

Pack Wars Times Four! Lorwyn, Morningtide, Shadowmoor, and Eventide Start Tomorrow

Attention Limited fans: We've taken a long-time favorite of Magic at big conventions and brought it into Magic Online. There are some who call it Mini-Master, but on Magic Online it’s Pack Wars!

This time we’ve got a twist – instead of four packs of one set, you’ll progress with one pack each of four sets. Lorwyn will lead off, followed by the next three sets tied to that plane – Morningtide, Shadowmoor, and Eventide!

We are only able to run the Keeper Swiss League this time (no Phantom queue).

Vintage Supreme Returns Next Week

Our zany pick-two-and-toss-em format returns next Wednesday, February 25. Vintage Supreme Draft will return utilizing the same list we had last month.

If you missed out the first time or want to perfect the strategies you tried back then, give it a go! The normal Phantom League entry of 10 Event Tickets or 100 Play Points applies along with normal prizing.

When Do Vintage Cube Leagues Return?

• Through February 25 – Lorwyn Eclipsed Vintage Cube Update
• February 25-March 3 – Vintage Supreme returns (Cube unaltered from January)
• March 11-April 8 – Spring Vintage Cube Update

MTGO.com Decklists Update

Starting today, we have adjusted the number of decklists posted to MTGO.com from our Challenges, Trials, and Premier Play tournaments. These will scale more appropriately with the size of the event.

Previously all of these events displayed the Top 32 decklists. Going forward, the amount displayed will be as follows:

• Events with 64 or fewer players: Top 8
• Events with 65-128 players: Top 16
• Events with 129+ players: Top 32

Check out our Redemption page for full program rules and inventory levels (updated weekly). As a reminder, the game itself is the most current place to determine if there is stock remaining for Redemption Tokens.

Outlaws of Thunder Junction foils-for-regular remain available in small quantities.
