Magic Online All-Access Is Back!
One of our most popular promotions – All-Access – has returned! The Mythic Event Token is now on sale. As usual it costs $25 USD for access to almost all of the cards on MTGO between time of purchase and 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18 – up to two weeks in all!
To use All-Access, simply purchase the Mythic Event Token in the Store, then build or import any legal deck in your chosen format. You will likely show negative quantities of cards in the Collection as you drag cards down – this is expected. You can try all Constructed formats with All-Access!
Once your deck is built the way you want it, enter an Open Play game or paid event (entry options still required). No cards will be added to your collection, but you'll be able to play even if you don't have all the cards in your collection.
As with previous All-Access periods, certain Premier Events will have an extra entry option of 2 Mythic Event Tokens. This represents a $15 savings compared to the combined cost of All-Access and a single entry to one of those events. Your account shouldn’t need more than two total Tokens during the All-Access period. When you spend the Tokens this way, the access remains on your account until the expiry time.
The events offering the extra entry option are:
- Pauper RC Super Qualifier – Sunday, November 9
- Modern RC Super Qualifier – Tuesday, November 11
- Pauper Championship Finals – Saturday, November 15
We'll remove all Mythic Event Tokens from accounts and turn off All-Access at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18.
Note: If you’re still competing in a Constructed League when All-Access ends, you’ll be allowed to complete that match (not the entire course).
Just like previous All-Access periods, certain cards (Secret Lair versions, TRANSFORMERS, WARHAMMER 40,000, Battlebond, and old-frame Power Nine) are unavailable. Additionally, card variants sold in Bundles (Oil Lands, Retro Shocklands, etc.) are unavailable. Finally, All-Access doesn’t apply to Limited events.
Pauper Championship Week Starts Next Monday
Our latest Format Championship event takes place next week – time to earn glory using the oldest card pool available – it's Pauper Championship Week!
Complete one of the following feats starting at 10 a.m. next Monday, November 10 in order to earn a Pauper Point:
- Complete a 5-0 Pauper League course
- Finish 4-0 or 3-1 in a Pauper Preliminary – here’s the schedule of those (all times PT, for UTC add 8 hours):
- Monday, November 10 – 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
- Tuesday, November 11 – 6 a.m, 10:30 a.m, 2 p.m., and 7 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 12 – Midnight, 4 a.m., and 3 p.m.
- Thursday, November 13 – 4 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., and 8 p.m.
- Friday, November 14 – Midnight, 11 a.m., and 4:30 p.m.
- Top 8 a Pauper Challenge 32 event – the schedule for those is:
- Tuesday, November 11 – 2 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 12 – 3:30 p.m.
- Thursday, November 13 – 11 a.m.
- Friday, November 14 – 6 a.m.
That Pauper Point is good for free entry into the Pauper Championship Week Finals on Saturday, November 15 at 7:00 a.m. PT. Unlike other Finals events of this type, you are able to directly enter the finals with the entry options of 40 Event Tickets or 400 Play Points or 2 Mythic Event Tokens!
Prizes for the Finals will be the same as a Super Qualifier, but without invitations or Leaderboard Points. In addition, the Top 32 finishers and those with the same record as 32nd place will receive an event-exclusive version of the Pauper Showcase avatar – Clockwork Percussionist!
As usual, you can only enter one of your accounts in the Finals event, and excess Pauper Points will be cleared from accounts next week.

EVENT UPDATES
Season of the Cube Continues – MenguCube Returns Tomorrow!
Magic Online’s Season of the Cube continues with the return after 4 years of MenguCube! This high-power Vintage Cube variant was designed by Pro Tour champion Andrea Mengucci, who won the Creator Cube vote on our Discord channel a few weeks ago.
You can check out Andrea’s article and updated card list on this page. The fun begins at 10 a.m. PT tomorrow (18:00 UTC) and runs until early next Wednesday. The Normal Cube League entry options and prize structure apply.
Limited Event Format Update: Edge of Eternities for Remainder of OM1 Season
Back by popular demand, Edge of Eternities has taken over as the featured set for the remainder of the OM1 season’s Limited Preliminary, Trial, and Challenge events (until November 18). While we planned to rotate the format for these events during this period through some recently released sets, we have opted to pivot to EOE.
The Edge of Eternities Draft League is also back. Normal Draft League entry options and prizes apply – full info found here.
Finally, this Saturday's Limited Super Qualifier will feature Edge of Eternities product for both play and prizes.
Pack Wars! War of the Spark Starts Tomorrow
Attention Limited fans: We've taken a long-time favorite of Magic at big conventions and brought it into Magic Online. There are some who call it Mini-Master, but on MTGO it’s Pack Wars! Starting tomorrow, it’s War of the Spark.

There are two different flavors of Pack Wars events – both of which are Best-of-One formats: a Keeper Swiss League, and a 2-Player Phantom Queue.
Get all the details in the Edge of Eternities set article!
